Dear deans, chiefs of departments, directors
and graduates students ;
Since Gestalt therapy is a unified psychotherapeutical
approach with its own theoretical content it would be advised
for those who are not familiar with that field to experience the
content in a demonstration session or lecture.
The purpose of those meetings is to help the audience live gestalt
as both a theoretical and practical approach and use it for their
respective objectives.
Many students in the department of human sciences and social
areas do have difficulties finding their own professional direction
and then adapt it to the population they will be working with.
For example; a BA student in psychology needs to make some training
in the mentally retarded field without any practical knowledge
about how to cope with such a population in a direct face to face
relationship.
His needs to interact, adapt himself and integrate his personality
to the other persons’ needs are quite a particular project
of professional awareness and integration.
Gestalt therapy is a relational tool for students and professionals
that enable them to perform with an adequate level of consciousness,
care and balance between their mental and emotional needs.
Let us remember that Gestalt therapy is also a specific form
of psychotherapy.
Our Center is providing special training in
Gestalt therapy for graduate students in psychology .
Special
integrative program is provided to Arab countries.
